Gathered and Growing explores the quiet energy of living things - the way branches, leaves, and stems continue to reach outward even when gathered into a still arrangement. Layers of greens are interrupted by unexpected touches of blue, red, and light, revealing the complexity and color that emerge when we look more closely.

The painting reflects my fascination with growth as something both visible and felt. Although contained within the vessel, the foliage seems determined to move beyond it - reaching, overlapping, and expanding into the surrounding space as a reminder that life is rarely truly still.
