Inspired by the luminous energy of a nebula, this piece explores the meeting of darkness, color, and light in a place where new stars are born. Layers of deep blue and violet surround an expanding center of orange, gold, and white, suggesting light and energy emerging from the darkness.

I was drawn to the nebula as another expression of the ideas I explore throughout my work - the energy held within living things, transformation, and the light within. Here, those ideas expand beyond organic forms on Earth to something larger: the beauty, mystery, and continual creation of the universe.
